Enrichment is here and we are excited to get started.  Second session begins Wednesday, November 9th.  Please note some of the changes that have occurred in order to help everyone know procedures and minimize confusion.
• Drop off is no earlier than 8:40 a.m. with brief announcements beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Students should line up at the loading dock under the sign that designates their first period class per their schedule.  Students who arrive after classes have left the loading dock area must be walked to class by a parent.
• Schedules will be passed out by your resource teacher either prior to or on the first day of each session.  On the first day, teachers will be waiting on the walkways around the grassy area south of the loading dock.  Please find them prior to line up.
• Lanyards with class schedules will be given to each student on the first day of Session II.  Your student must wear his/her lanyard with schedule at all times in order to be admitted to class.  If lanyards are lost or forgotten, you will be asked to get a replacement from the office at a cost of $5.00 per lanyard.  We would like to avoid any misunderstandings, so PLEASE DO NOT FORGET your lanyards on enrichment days!
• As many parents have remarked that it is often difficult to hear the announcements, opening exercises will be brief to include flag salute and minimal event reminders.  Per parent suggestion, the announcements will be posted at each of the main entry gates for your review.
• Gates will once again be open from 8:40 to 9:15 a.m. and closed during class time.  They will be re-opened at 12:15 p.m. for pick up. ALL students will be brought back to the loading dock area after their last class for pick up.  Parents will need to collect their students from the loading dock lines.  Students should wait in line until collected by a parent.  Pick up should be by 12:30 p.m.  There is no need for parents to go to individual classrooms to pick up students. (If an adult other than a parent will be collecting your student, please make the office aware of that arrangement in order to avoid confusion.)
• Pizza lunch is currently discontinued, however, parents are welcome to bring lunch for their students and eat together with their children and other families on campus as in the past.  The warehouse, dock, and lawn areas will continue to be available for your group picnics and gatherings!
• As in the past, please do not allow your students in the animal pens without adult supervision.
