Valley Oaks Charter School is located at 3401 Chester Avenue, south of the Kern County Museum and north of Garces Circle. It is centrally located and has regular GET bus service.
Valley Oaks Charter School is fully accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Oral Language
ATTENTION ORAL LANGUAGE PARTICIPANTS: If you are a 4th-8th grader, planning on participating in The Oral Language Competition, you need to make contact with Mrs. Winders (852-6731) or Mrs. Medeiros (852-6723) ASAP. We need to ensure that you have signed up with one of us and we need to ensure that you get a packet with the competition's guidelines. The deadline for participants to confirm the name of their literature piece and category is Monday, Nov. 9. We look forward to hearing from you!
