Valley Oaks Charter School is located at 3401 Chester Avenue, south of the Kern County Museum and north of Garces Circle. It is centrally located and has regular GET bus service.
Valley Oaks Charter School is fully accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

KEEPING CURRENT ON THE KERN
Enrichment classes were a success again this quarter. Many students enjoyed studying Spanish with Mrs. Gallis and playing games with Mrs. Stauffer.
Please call Mrs. Gallis or Mrs. Stauffer between 9:00 a.m .and 4:00 p.m. for any questions. The second session of enrichment classes is coming to a close. Please remember that when you sign up, you are committing to attend all 5 classes. Should you need to miss a class, please call and let the teachers know that your student will be absent.
Don’t forget to sign up to host a learning event for our school. Let’s work together this year to offer as many life enriching opportunities as we can. Please see the list of suggested activities posted on the library wall at the KRV school site.
