Valley Oaks Charter School is located at 3401 Chester Avenue, south of the Kern County Museum and north of Garces Circle. It is centrally located and has regular GET bus service.
Valley Oaks Charter School is fully accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Enrichment Class Sign-Ups
The fourth session of enrichment classes begin Wednesday,
February 25th. Fourth session sign-up is Wednesday, February 18th at
8:00
a.m. in the warhouse. Parents who appear in person to sign up will be
given priority. Space is awarded on a first come, first served basis.
For each enrichment session there will be a one day advanced priority
sign up, for this session of classes the advanced sign-up will
be on Tuesday, Febraury 17th based on the parent/guardian’s
surname (G - M).
The sign up will be on a rotational basis. For 2008-2009 advanced sign up is scheduled as follows:
First session: Parents whose last names begin with N - S
Second session: Parents whose last names begin with T - Z
Third session: Parents whose last names begin with A - F
Fourth session: Parents whose last names begin with G - M
