SUMMER ADMINISTRATION HOURS:
During the summer our administration office will be open. However, the exact hours that we will be open may vary. We will be posting them soon so keep watching the announcements.

Walk-A-Thon - VOCS Nutrition and Fitness Club:
Join our 10-hour Walk-A-Thon taking place on May 18 (Extravaganza) from 7am to 5pm at Valley Oaks - Bakersfield. Teams of 4 or more will take turns walking on our Bakersfield campus to help raise Nutrition and Fitness awareness. Look for more details in next week's announcement. Please contact Mr. Cooke if you have any questions.
STUDENT COUNCIL:
Our next meeting will be held on May 8th, after school in room #1. As always feel free to come to a meeting and share your ideas and/or tell a representative. Thank you for your student council support.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:
The next personal development activity is due May 15th. There are many ideas and experiences students may take part in for personal development. Students may also use many ideas and opportunities experienced right in the home or community. Please remember to turn assignments in on or before the due dates and contact your resource teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

DRAMA CLUB:
The performances this last weekend were wonderful. Every student did a tremendous job. We want to thank all parents for supporting both performances. Lastly, we appreciate Mrs. Woessner for her dedication to the performances and most importantly to our students. Great job everyone!
"The College Corner": Each week we have decided to bring the parents and students valuable information about the college experience and admission expectations. "The College Corner" will be providing valuable information on a variety of college topics.
