Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year
This is an important year as we begin the transition year into junior high school.
The seventh grade is also the time when we will be taking the state writing evaluation. Be sure to check the Expository, Persuasive and Response to Literature prompt links to the left. Students and families are encouraged to take full advantage of enrichment courses that focus on writing as well as practicing the various forms of writing styles highlighted throughout the year.
The seventh grade level project is a Renaissance/Medieval History Report. Your student can research a person, event, or artwork for the time period OR do a Life Science Report choosing a topic from the text (three to five pages).
We have many exciting enrichment classes that will be offered this year; Biology and Dissection, Yearbook and Jewelry Making to name a few. Please take advantage of the fun and educational classes that we will be offering.
Please contact your resource teacher or Donna Roberts if you have any questions regarding the 7th grade curriculum.
