Welcome to a new school year. This will be a year in which students grow and reach heights as they branch out in Fourth Grade. Students have many opportunities to share many positive learning experiences as the theme is incorporated throughout the year. The selected novels, poetry, essays, projects, and activities also enhance the theme.

Your student will have an opportunity to learn about famous people who are good role models for them. Writing is extremely important for your fourth graders progression and growth. A new daily writing consumable has been incorporated into this years grid along with writing activities throughout the year that correlate with their anthology. Be sure to check the Expository and Narrative links to the left.

In Science your student will learn about the earth and its resources, weather, outer space, and ecosystems.

Your student will discover the past and present of our beautiful and interesting state of California through Social Studies.

In Math your student will learn everything from Place Value to Probability.
