Welcome back VOCS families to the 2008-2009 school year. We encourage you to start your year off right. By setting boundaries, a daily routine, and promoting good work habits, you can make third grade a successful year.

Please remember to begin using the test prep material listed on the grid in both Language Arts and Math so you have a jump start for state testing in the spring.

A reminder to all families that Enrichment will begin later this year. You should arrive at 8:55 a.m. for Opening Ceremonies. There is an opportunity for tutoring on Wednesday mornings before Enrichment classes begin. Sign up for tutoring classes when you sign up for Enrichment classes.

Reminder: There is a new "learning trip" policy in place this year. You must call or email Janise if you are unable to attend a learning trip you have signed up for. If you fail to let her know twice, your learning trip privileges will be revoked for the rest of the school year.
