Welcome, to all Second Graders and Parents:

2012/13 will be the best year of your life if you allow yourself to grow and stretch your abilities. This is the year to read many books on your own and develop a love for literature. We encourage you to visit the VOCS library often and check out books that inspire you.

This year hopefully will be the time to zero in on addition and subtraction facts. Check out the awesome incentive folders called “Math Minutes to Win it” provided by your school. It will be rewarding and fun to learn and know your math fact forever.

Enjoy also the neat Social Studies and Science activities provided is this year’s curriculum. It will be exciting to watch you grow in knowledge!!!
