For each item, briefly describe its time frame the area(s) of the world involved, the major events or developments of the period, and why this period is important. Each response can be in three to five complete sentences.

Describe what you believe to be the most serious unresolved problem(s) of the modern world. Use specific examples to justify your response. Be sure to observe all the rules of grammar, spelling, punctuation and logic. Your response should be at least five paragraphs in length.
