Below is a list of VOCS parents and their official positions.

Valley Oaks Parent Advisory Committee's (VOPAC) purpose is to provide parental input to school activities and programs, be a source of support for other Valley Oaks parents, and to coordinate fundraising.

Any parent who has a child enrolled at Valley Oaks is welcome. Attendance at VOPAC meeting and volunteering at sponsored events.  Meetings usually last about an hour, but occasionally we have so much fun they do run over.

Fundraising enriches our chidlren's education by providing the extras that the school budget does not cover.  Joining VOPAC allows parents to see first hand how hard the staff and teachers work in conjunction with the parents to make Valley Oaks a great homeschool program that benefits our children.

Other planned VOPAC sponsored activities include a Christmas Party and Santa Shoppe, VOPAC Visits, Parent Workshops, Extravaganza, Skate Party, Scholastic Book Fair, and Year End Swim Party.  Watch the Calendar for dates, locations, and times.

VOPAC Meetings          

VOPAC meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. at the Chester Avenue site.  All are welcome to attend.

The Christmas Party will take place from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Chester Avenue site.  Santa will be available for pictures.  The Santa Shoppe will host great gifts for $1.00 each.  There will also be activities available such as: a scavenger hunt, crafts, and games.  The VOCS Choir and Chime Choir will be performing some great holiday music.  Parents, please bring your favorite finger food to share.  Also, we will be needing a few parent volunteers.  If you are available to help please contact Rachel Hansen at rachelhansen@hmail.com to sign up!
