-------------
The Spanish 2 homework for this week is pages 45-47 in the practice workbook. In addition, please study for the chapter test, (Chapter 2B), which will be given Tuesday, Dec. 1. Make sure you know how to conjugate verbs in the preterite tense. Use your verb books! You should also know the vocabulary associated with shopping. Make sure to study the chapter review on pages 124-125.
There is no lab this week. It's Thanksgiving!

________
The Spanish 2 homework for this week is pages 41-44 in the practice notebook. In addition, please prepare for the oral presentation, which you will give on Tuesday (11/24). The subject of the oral presentation is a shopping trip. It must be at least six sentences long and should tell us where you went, with whom you went, what you saw and/or bought, and how much it was (or wasn't.) This need not be a REAL shopping trip, but it should make sense. You will be graded on grammar and pronunciation, although not on your accent. You should memorize what you are going to say. That is, I don't want you to read your presentation to the class. You may use cue cards, but I expect you to know the subject matter well enough so that you can make eye contact with your audience.
Have fun!
See you at lab on Thursday.
Sra. Klein
___________
Buenos días. (O Buenas tardes, o Buenas noches.)
The homework assignment due next Tuesday (11/17) is pages 38-40 in the practice workbook. Also please review the new vocabulary, including the expressions used in the short story we read in class about the shopping trip.
See you at the lab on Thursday!
Sra. Klein

Hola. Qué gusto me da verlos aquí.
The homework due next week (11/10) is pages 35-36 in the practice workbook. Aside from that, you should spend your time studying for the chapter test. (chapter 2A.) Use your completed (and corrected) homework to help you. Read the lecturas in the text. Pay special attention to the grammar boxes. Do all this and you will do well.
See you at the lab on Thursday for more review.
_________
Espero que estén bien.
The homework due next Tuesday, Nov. 3, is pages 31-34 in the practice workbook. Please review the material we covered in class, especially the reflexive verbs, the differences between the verbs estar and ser, and the new vocabulary words.
Gracias. Nos veamos el jueves, ¿verdad?
----------
The homework assignment this week is pages 27-30 in the practice workbook. As the quarter ends this Friday, Oct. 23, all make-up assignments must be turned into me no later than Thursday, Oct. 22. Otherwise they will not be counted.
Also, during this grading period I will erase each student's lowest assignment grade.
See you at the lab on Thursday!

Saludos. La tarea de esta semana es:
Workbook pages 23-25. Also, you will have a test on chapter 1B. ¡Hay que estudiar! Use the repaso on pages 68-69 to help you study effectively. By now you should have an idea about what types of questions are usually on the chapter tests. Understanding of vocabulary and how to conjugate key verbs is muy importante. Remember to use the boxes in the textbook, such as those labeled gramática, to help guide you. Accents and spelling count on the tests.
¡Espero que los vea el jueves!
Sra. Klein
___________
workbook pages 17-22 and actividad 9 on page 52 of your textbook. Please write out the answers to each of the four questions of the actividad, then choose one of the questions to expand upon. You will make an oral presentation based on the answers to this question. You should have at least five sentences in your presentation. Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), the sentences should be complete and grammatically correct. There is no need to do a visual to accompany your presentation.
Hope to see you at the lab Thursday, 10/8.
¡Hasta luego!
Sra. Klein
____________
News flash! No homework this week beyond studying for the chapter test (chapter 1A) which you will take on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Please go over, and over again, everything in the chapter. Come to lab on Thursday. Study your corrected homework and quizzes. If you do all this, you will do well on the test!!
