This is the home page for our new fine arts course called, Art and Music in Western Civilization.

Class sessions will run from 9:20 to 10:35 on Fridays in Room 3.

Below are the specifics for our trip to Peter and the Wolf.  This is a mandatory activity; a major writing assignment is associated with this field trip.  The specifics are listed below:

What: Required class trip to a ballet performance for Art and Music in Western Civilization

Where: Rabobank Theater, 1001 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield.

When:  arrive at the Rabobank around 10:15am.  the performance starts at 10:45. 

How: (will we get there?): Students provide their own transportation.

How: (much money do you need to take?): The school is paying for your ticket.   

Why: This is the first of several outings we will make as a class.  See your syllabus or course instructor for further explanations.
