English 12P Assignments
UPDATED 4/17/2008
ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS
I am going to begin enforcing a policy for late work, from today until the last day of the semester, as follows:
-Late (meaning not turned in on the due date) and up to one week late: -10% (one grade)
-After one week and up to two weeks: -50%
-After two weeks: Assignment receives a grade of 0%.
To excuse lateness, parents may call and leave me a message on my voicemail or meet with me (not through internet) to excuse a student's late work if a legitimate reason is provided. If you leave me a phone message, I will only call you back if I have questions. If you don't hear from me you can assume that the lateness was excused. Students should never leave English work in my box, as I require all students to sign in for each assignment they turn in.
