And We're Off and RunningWelcome back from your extended vacation. While it was nice to have a couple of weeks off from school, getting back into a routine is often what we need to make progress. We are hoping that with the arrival of a new year, a new semester, and new "happenings" at school, that you are looking forward to making great progress during this "second half". In addition to many interesting field trips (Tehachapi Wind Farm, Sierra Summit, La Purisima - to name a few), we have two more exciting enrichment sessions planned. The Drama Club is making preparations for another great production and our annual science fair and spelling bee competitions are just around the corner. Students are reading diligently for Battle of the Books competition, History Camp is in the making, our Oral Language winners are brushing up their pieces for the county competition, and before we know it, SPRING will have sprung! We're off and running at full speed into the second half of the year, so put on those running shoes and don't be left behind. Get back into the school routine, get involved in all the "happenings" and continue making progress towards your educational goals! more...Posted: 8/24/09; 11:08:06 AM | Permalink(#)
